📝 From 1 June 2025 we will update the General Terms and Conditions

In order to keep our service safe, fair and understandable for everyone, we need to update the GTC from time to time. The revised GoDrive Terms and Conditions will therefore come into force from 1 June 2025. The new changes mainly concern newly registered users and clarification of the rules in case of damages. We understand that reading the terms and conditions is not entirely appealing to most of you. Therefore, we have prepared a clear and concise overview of the most important changes.

What exactly is changing from 1 June 2025?

Point 1. 1. - From 1 June 2025 we are changing the deposit amount for newly registered users. Starting from this date, a refundable deposit of CZK 1,000 will apply, which will be charged to the renter's payment card on the first ride and will remain blocked for the duration of the active user account. The deposit will be refunded in full upon cancellation, provided that we do not register any arrears or damages against the user. The deposit is a preventive and protective element. It helps us to deal with situations where, for example, rent is not paid, a fine is issued or damage is caused to a vehicle, and it does not restrict normal and reliable users in any way.

This change applies only to newly registered users. If you are already using GoDrive, you will not be affected by the new deposit. Modification of Point 1. 5. - The application of the deductible and the lump sum compensation applies only to cases where the Lessee is at fault for the damage. In cases where the damage occurs without the fault of the Lessee, the Lessee is not obliged to pay the deductible or the lump sum compensation.

You are of course free to reject our proposed changes to the General Terms and Conditions. By accessing or using the Services after the change to the Terms and Conditions has taken effect, you automatically agree to the new wording.
